About Alex

To me, photography is an art of preserving memories through storytelling.

I grew up in a family of architects, surrounded by design and creativity from a young age. That foundation led me to explore drawing, painting, and eventually filmmaking. These disciplines taught me to see the world through light, stories, and emotion.

I bring that same cinematic perspective to wedding photography. For me, every wedding is a beautiful and unique story unfolding in real time. My role isn’t to stage or dictate, but to anticipate, observe, and capture moments as they truly are, and shape them into timeless memories.

My Philosophy

  • Cinematic. I approach every frame as though it belongs on a big screen. My photos are layered, intentional, and artfully composed.

  • Emotional. The images should feel alive. I want them to reflect how it felt to be there.

  • Timeless. I avoid trends, focusing instead on authentic moments, light, and emotion that will be remembered for decades to come.

I Am Also a Film Director

But not for weddings, sorry.

When not photographing weddings, I direct films about incredible people and their passions.

I’m inspired by new places and cultures.

Seeing the world and getting to know different cultures fills me with happiness and inspires me to create.

And I always enjoy coming home to California.

There is no place in the world that I love more.
