Sophia & Aremon - Bently Reserve San Francisco Wedding

Sophia & Aremon's Wedding

Bently Reserve. San Francisco, CA.

As San Francisco wedding venues go, The Bently Reserve is by far one of the prettiest and most inspiring. It certainly met its match with an equally gorgeous and inspiring couple when Sophia and Aremon selected it for their big celebration.

The morning of the wedding, Sophia and the girls got ready at the Le Méridien Hotel with its sweeping views of downtown San Francisco and the bay only steps away from the wedding venue. In the meantime, Aremon and his groomsmen were exchanging gifts and toasting to the day ahead a couple of floors below.

Sophia put on her gorgeous dress and the couple headed downstairs to be united for their first look. Soon after, we took full advantage of the downtown San Francisco location to get some beautiful wedding portraits of the happy couple before heading inside The Bently Reserve for the ceremony.

The reception began with the couple entering through the grand staircase to the cheerful welcome of family and friends. We already knew we were in for quite a party by the way they were welcomed and the crowd certainly didn’t disappoint.

We loved getting to know Sophia and Aremon and their (seriously amazing) families through this experience together, and are so proud to have been there for their first day as husband and wife.

Andrea & Michael - Bently Reserve San Francisco Wedding

Andrea & Michael's Wedding

Ascension Greek Orthodox Cathedral & Bently Reserve. San Francisco, CA

We still get some a warm feeling thinking about Andi & Michael’s beautiful celebration among family and closest friends at the Bently Reserve in San Francisco. Andi and the girls got ready at the gorgeous Claremont Hotel & Spa in Berkeley while Michael was at his childhood home where relatives gathered with delicious food and drinks and the festivities were already underway.

Andi was composed and graceful while helping her girlfriends get ready and we loved the relaxed, warm, and cheerful atmosphere she created, which felt more like a small gathering of friends rather than a wedding morning with a thousand moving pieces.

The ceremony took place at the magnificent Ascension Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Oakland: one of the most gorgeous cathedrals we have ever had the pleasure of photographing. Soon after, the couple and the guests made their way back to San Francisco where drummers welcomed them to the reception at the Bently Reserve: truly one of the most majestic venues on the West Coast. A beautiful mix of speeches, dancing, and traditions ensued such as the candle dance where the bride enters the dancing floor and takes turn sharing the candle dance with the women who love and support her. Andi and Michael stayed on the dance floor and kept the party going till the very end all while looking beautiful and elegant.

Positivity, closeness, and fun were the theme of the day throughout and we really loved the time we spent watching and photographing these two families coming together. And, since Andi's sister was the one who caught the bouquet, we hope to be back some day for part two!
