This was my first time in Chicago and I really had no idea what to expect prior to coming here. All I knew is that I should set my expectations high for its world-famous architecture and try as many deep-dish pizza restaurants as I can during my short stay. To say that both did not disappoint would be a huge understatement, I loved the mixture of clean modern lines and mid-century charm that is present in the city's high-rises. You could really see and feel the rich layers of history that define this city while walking the streets of downtown.
Of course, I couldn't miss the opportunity to get some cityscape shots. The ones below were taken from the Skydeck of the John Hancock Center. If you ever find yourself lacking inspiration, well, just head up there... It will come.
